I sold off my Sound Storm Labs 1600w Amp to a buddy for a lil chunk of change.

So that leaves me with a ported box for 2 12" subs and I already have the subs picked out.

    http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/tech_page.php?name=IDMAX12D4 V.3&type=sub&id=idmax

Now all I need is an amp to power those up, the subs are gonna cost an arm and a leg so why the hell shouldn't the amp cost alot too?

I need what will make it hearable up to 08946987568576-872086725768756miles away including the hyphen. It prolly needs to be 1ohm stable because these are Dual 4 Ohm Coils, so you do the math and figure what it needs to run at to be be best performing for someone who likes to be heard, and well.

Get a couple Memphis 1000D's...1100 watts at 1 ohm...and is capable of actually running at 1 ohm until you crash into a tree...will never get too hot to touch either...if it does than your gay

thanks to a current limited power supply! In my book, if you cant smoke it with to much output, then it aint wortha damn! Thats the thing with all htese new amps today, too much protection. if the voltage and current is there. let it ROCK! Not good for the avearge consumer, but good for folks that KNOW ho to run an amp! again, just my 2 cents

    crap i need a beer...................

One thing's for sure.. you will never buy audiobahn again, after you hear those sweet, sweet image dynamics. (some of my favorites) -Enjoy!

Those JL's are pretty good...I like the new cone...looks even cooler now haha

Those Comps are just entry levels...I'd either get one L7 or two CVR 12's or one 15...I love the sound of one 15

That Hifonics BXI 2006D amp is the one I WILL get, omg it is so sexiful!

But, is'n't it better to "under watt" your subs that to powerful of an amp?

Well its fine to have an amp with more power...just know how to use it.

Better to "under-run" a big amp rather push a smaller amp to its max.

Hifonics amps are a lil overrated.

I never planned on throwing all the switches to the max on a 2000watt amp, not even halfway :p

The reason I recommend the hifonics amp is because my coworker has that amp pushing 3 Polk audio12 inch momo subs. It pushes them VERY hard and does not get hot at all. If I had the extra $$ id get one myself but I bought Fosgate, another lesson learned.

Eh...I was thinking about gettin the 1200 watts bxi amp...but the power output at 4 ohms isnt enough...just wondering lol...actually forgot what I was thinking of
