Coming home from the office last night, i was bumpin' along when all of a sudden my protect light came on for my nine.1. shut the power off the HU then turned it back on, same thing.... PROTECT.

When i got home i checked the wiring, everything seemed to be fine but the amp was still on protect. I didn't have a lot of time to check up on things so i just disconnected the power for now. Before i did that, i disconnected the speaker wires and RCA but still PROTECT.

I hope I didn't screw up my amp. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

    Any ideas?

that i wasn't able to check yet, it was too dark and i got home kinda late. I'll be checking it out tonight.

Even with the fuses blown the amp would go into protect? In fact, i'm going down not to check them.

my amp is fixed!!!!!!!!!!! yes!!!!!!! very minor problem.. cost me $20 to have it fixed...

the problem was that there must have been some vibration going to the amp causing it to screw up. actually i couldn't feel any vibration when i tested it (amps kinda mounted on the back of the box).

To be safe i'm going to redesign my system again to be sure that this won't happen again. back to the drawing board for an amp rack now. lol
