i got a toyota 4runner about a couple months back, i bout it from a dealer with stock speakers and a Xdvd700 Produced by DUAL. i need some help deciding if i should but a 12 inch sub in or new speakers then sub. much needed help with sub/ speaker info looking to spend about 250- 300 thanks
depends on how loud you want the subs to be... if you have a good hard hiting sub befor you get a speaker upgrade then the bass is just going to drown out the sound from the speakers... and the dual has to go... iv had nothing but bad luck put of dual, so i would say get some beter speakers... i just orderd some kicker 2way speakers for my 01 330ci and im still waiting for them to get here, but bmw already has good stock sound so i went with my sub first and now im moving on to mids and hights.. If it were me, I'd take the $250 and get yourself a nice headunit. Kenwood, Pioneer, or Alpine. Dual is junk. Save to upgrade speakers next, then get sub and amp last.
