hey, i need some help with what kind of system i should get. i want something that really pounds, but i dont want to spend more than $1000 and i have a ford mustang with limited trunk space. im happy with the quality of the mids and tweeters in the car, all i want to buy is subs, amps, etc, and a new deck. i know very little about whats out there, and i was hoping someone here could pass a little wisdom my way.
This is what I would buy if I were you. Check out Crutchfield.com and look at the Pioneer DEH-P7800mp for 319 with free shipping and harness to hook up. then jump over to woofersetc.com and look at the Hifonics BX1605D for 299. and for subs look at the MB Quart DWE 304 DGI for 199. You get 2 top quality subs and a box. Not sure if that box will fit in your trunk but measure it and see if it will slip in there. I think that combo will pound. And your only talking about 850 or 900 with tax and that leaves you enough $$ for power cable and rcas.
