all i know is that im gettin 4 KICKER Solo-Baric L7 S12L74/S12L7 and i need to know what door speaker are loud enough to go with...and also can you use guitar amp speakers in car..like emenience and jenson cuz i have a pair of jensen p 12 r speakers with nothing to do with them can they be put in?
Welcome! The 4 kickers sound nice but i wouldn't put speakers made for live signals, i doubt you would ever get it to sound descent.
huh? lol, if money is no issue than why put speakers that are not designed for car audio? Guitar amp speakers are made to push mid range live frequencies, your system will sound like kife!
I wouldn't use guitar amp speakers either. it would be hard to get them sounding good. what kind of car do you have and what is your budget for your whole system?
ah, i have a 2001 Expy... You can fit 6.5" in the 5x7 speaker slots. I suggest you go to a car audio store and listen to some component speakers to see which ones you like. you may want to look into brands like: Focal DLS Polk But that is really up to you and what your listening preference is.
