    that I've ever heard !

It was owned by one of the employees at Paradyme Audio in Sacramento.

    Here's some of the details;
The speaker was a 10" RF T2. The enclosure was 2 cu ft, and tuned to 45 hz, I believe he said. He was using a T500.1 amp (correct me if I'm wrong about any of these model #'s) but it was giving the 10" sub 500 wt rms.

Funny thing was, it was in a thin, wedge box, behind the bench seat of a regular cab Chevy truck. The guy said it was so funny to pull up to a light slamming, and everybody would be looking around, like "WTF is that coming from ! ......looking right past his regular cab truck, thinking, their ain't no f'n way" ! But all I can say is.... "Way" !

That thing was rediculous loud ! He didn't have the mids and highs powered up (with an external amp) just deck power yet, but so what. This was an SPL stereo anyway.

Yes, I've sat in louder vehicles..... but they had 4 15"s or 6 12"s, and like 4000 wts or something stupid. But that 1, dinky little 10 was just unbelievable !

Oh, and while the bass sounded a bit mono tone to me, it was very smooth, and easy to listen to. I never found myself wanting to cover my ears, or jump out and run away.... but it did rattle my teeth, and set off every car alarm within 200 feet :)

    FUN ! :)

    Peace,
    Fish

i too have a 10 in a 2.0 cuft box and gets on average 600-700 watts.

it wont win any spl contests , but.......oh wait it has.lol
rookie 1. idbl in my class.

some people are surprised what it can do for a 10.

ok well a 10 inch sub in a 2 cu ft enclosure tuned to 45Hz is going to be peaky in any situation...should be loud.

Impressive...but not that impressive to me IMO

so u mean i could have got a 10" sub and a 500watt amp in a 2cb and been as loud as my 15" sub and 1000watt amp in a 4cb box? that would have saved me some money

that would be a no. cone area(15) and power(1000) = louder than the 10 with 500 watts. unless the box that the 15 is in sucks.

i can average a 138.5 on the audio control mic and a 137.7 on the term lab.

i did peak once at 140.1, but that may have been a fluke tho, or a really good day.

the less your vehicle will flex = more at the mic i believe. i have alot of roof flex and my side windows do too. so if i can keep them in control i wont lose pressure and i my be able to pick up a few 10th's of a db.

dang thats a lot of deadening. so the truck is covered. what about the probe? you gonna do it too?

oh my hatch and rear window move a lil too. so i have to adjust the latch so it latches tighter. for my side windows i plan on adding some extra window gasket so it sits tighter too.

i'm hoping to post a higher score than my last show. this time i trying to do better on the term lab.
