hey guys i just joined the forums...i have a question. ok well first let me start off by telling you guys what i have, i have 2 12 inch jl audio w3v2 with 6 ohm imp. each. and for my amp i have a memphis mono d class 1100 watt amp. ok so what i want to know is how i should wire my subs. my amp is 1 ohm stable and puts out 1100 watts at 1 ohm, 600 @ 2 ohms , and 300 @ 4 ohms. right now i have my subs wired in parallel, but seperate.(each sub is in parallel, so im using 2 terminals, sorry im not good at explaining stuff) any way, i THINK if i wire both subs together in parallel, i should be running my subs @ 1.5 ohms right? and therefore they would be louder correct? im not sure but i think since i have my subs wired in parallel but seperate, they are at 3 ohms. i dont know much about wiring in parallel or series, so any help would be greatly aprreciated.
    thanks

    you're right

you are correct.. if you wire these in parallel to eachother, then together you will get max output from your amp, and since the amp is 1 ohm stable in mono configuration, you will be fine..

see, you're smarter than you give yourself credit for..:)
