I have a Pioneer P400UB and I used an 8gb USB stick for all my music. When I first added music to it and popped it in, the folders of music were in alphabetical order, twice. It went A-Z(about half of the usb drive) back to A and then through Z(the other half of the usb drive) again. After that, it would add any new folder to the very end of the list regardless of its letter. Lately its just putting them in random places where they aren't in an alphabetical spot at all. On my PC they are all alphabetical and I would like it to resemble that on my deck..is that possible? Anyone know? I already know their is no setting to arrange them on the deck itself...or at least any menu Ive been through on it shows no sign of that.
Ah! I found the solution! It turns out this is a common thing on all decks. Particularly with USB drives. I found this program: http://www.anerty.net/software/file/DriveSort.php where you just run it, select the usb drive and hit sort and it sorts everything on the drive alphabetically. Everything on it is now A - Z and only runs through the list once rather than twice like I explained above. I love that program
