How do I hook up multiple 4 ch. amps?

So I have 8 component speakers but not enough rca signals to fire them. I have my front and rear rca outputs from the deck to my first 4 channel amp. Then I have only have the 2 channels from that amps preouts going to my second amp but I need 4! I tried using 2 female to male splitters but they sound terrible, giving lots of feedback even though the splitters are brand new. All 4 channels were also very quiet. Am I losing voltage every time I split them? The signals started out as 4 volts from my head unit. I would run my second 2 sets of 4 ohm speakers in parallel and bridge my second 4 ch. amp but the amp has a minimum bridged impedance of 4 ohms. The whole idea here is to run all 8 channels without losing any wattage! What is the simple solution? Better splitters and turn up the amp?

Ok I could use a 2 ch. amp that i have instead as my second amp that will give me 260 watts x 2 @ 2ohms. Hook up my speakers in parallel giving a two ohm load split in half would be 130 watts to each of my 4 speakers.. That way I only need the one pair of rca's coming from the preouts of my first amp.
