did you guys know that if you go to lowes to buy your mdf, they will cut it to the sizes that you need for free? pretty cool!

    there cuts are pretty percise

now anyone can build there own box w/ only glue and clamps!

just figured i would share that, i never knew.....

didnt charge me....maybe it depends on who you get, a reg. employee will prolly do it free, then a manager might charge you out the ass, he made upwards to 25-28 cuts for me, first time i have ever hauled home 2 sheets of mdf in my grand am....lol

You should give it a shot. Have a box designed and just spend the 20 bucks and then you can just assemble it yourself.

I got real lucky. We owned a furniture factory before (we still have the factory) and I found out there are still 268 sheets of 3/4 MDF there. FREE MDF!!!lol

I did all the cuts for my box and started on the false floor. My stuff is coming this week so I should have it all finished this coming weekend. Best part about it is that it's all free!!

Lowe's gives you two cuts for free...then after that its 25 cents per cut.

It's just that most of the people there don't care or don't know.

Went I picked up MDF from them...I had them cut the wood shorter so I could fit it in my car. I dont know if I would actually have them cut it to certain dimensions.
