    Are they any good?

I am rebuilding an old volkswagen and have no exterior antenna, I dont want to drill a hole. Will a one of these internal antennas be ok. I will also be adding XM antenna later on.

The first antenna on your list I have used. But I am not a big fan, I think its ugly. But if you can find an out of the way, inconspicuous place for it, it might not be to bad.

Peronally you can get great performance from a piece of wire (its also easier to conceal.) It should be about 4-ft long soldered on an antenna end and stretched out under the dash. It will work

Amplified antennas do work well for local stations. Distant stations don't work any better than they would with a normal antenna. (All the static you hear from distant stations is also amplified along with the signal)

    Hope some of this helps

I have also used the first one on your list. The reception isnt that greatest, but it will make do. The price isnt bad either.
