  1. Hello everyone, I recently just bought a vw beetle and was looking for suggestions on what I should buy for a medium-quality system for it. I know that I am going to buy 2 Kicker Comp Subs for it. I just don't know if I should go with 10s or 12s. And I was wondering if I should go with buying 3-way door speakers in the bottoms of the doors or 2-way speakers on the bottoms of the doors and tweeters on the top. I already have a cheap Koiler 600w 4ch amp, but I don't know what amp to buy for the subs that would complement them for a good price. Would the 12s be too overwhelming for the little car because I'm the type of person that likes a lot of bass. I will post pics up soon of the space I have for the system in the bug. Thanks. 1 for 12s and 2 for 10s.

Id go with 2 12's if you like alot of bass. 10's might be punchier but 2 12's are going to move more air. I voted 10's by accident so that doesnt count!

  3. What should I do?

Here are some pics of the amount of room I have for everything in the bug. As you can tell, it's pretty cramped, but I was wondering what would make for better sound quality? Should I put two 3-way 6x9s in the doors on the bottom, or should I put two 3/2-ways on the bottoms of the doors and place two little tweeters at the top of the doors also? Thanks for viewing!
