Just wondering if anyone is running any hertz brand equipment and if its any good? Im currently running one of their amps to power 2 mbquarts. but i can only seem to find 1 sub to put in my dual box that wont crap out on me right away (see other thread of mine) So, being very limited on local selection i was thinking about maybe switching to the hertz subs...
i havent heard of them, but from the looks of it, they are legit cause they are associated with audison. Looks like some good stuff.
I've heard of their components and stuff for active set ups but i haven't heard of their subs. If their subs are as good as the other speakers then I wouldn't hesitate to get them.
I've heard them before, they're bad@ss, just make sure you get the mille line or the hx series. I don't care to much for their lower end subs. I have a set of their mlk 165 components and it's the best component set I've ever owned.
italian built, thats why no one here has heard of em. they are fairly high end stuff. ive read about their mlk 165's and they are pretty good, but pricey. msrp of the 165's are 1000. if you can get it then do it.
A little update... Still dont know for sure but it looks like they will be giving me a Hertz HX300 sub to replace that damn Mbq. Hopefully they sort it out soon, i want to give that sub a go and see what it does. My only concern is that my box is a sealed dual sub but their is a cutout in the divider between the 2 sides of the box. im not sure if that will affect anything or not (basically running 2 different subs in the same box). But, if that sub is half decent i will sell my other mbq and buy a matching hertz
Ok, they did finally make up their minds and i came out of the deal with an hx300 and bought another to match. First off i love the way they look in the box i have, it looks like the box was made for these subs! So far so good with them, ive been taking it easy on them for now but they sound real nice. Still thinking about maybe finding another box though, want to try a ported box and see what that sounds like, ive definately got the room for it.
