Help with this noise!

    Several months ago my stereo would make an occasional squeaking noise. It has become a regular thing and it is VERY ANNOYING. It is like an electronic ping, at regular intervals. The pitch will vary depending on the amount of pressure I am putting on the accelerator. Even if I turn the volume down to zero, the sound can still be heard. I have attached a clip of the sound.

    Any ideas??:huh:

    run ur patch cord and speaker wires on opposite side of car or buy a ground loop isolater

    What he means is run your RCA and speaker wires on the oppisite side of your car than your power wire, also make sure your ground wire is nice and tight.
