I have an 01 blazer and I have been through everything trying to wire my stuff up correctly. It has the bose system which comes with a factory amp. If that amp isnt plugged in then I have no power to my door speakers or rear speakers. Then if i plug the factory amp power wire into the remote wire with my aftermarket amp wire it seems like my sub hits a little less harder. If I turn power off to the speakers through my head unit I can turn the volume up louder and the sub hits just fine but at those volumes with the compoent speakers on it sounds terribly distorted in the factory bose speakers. The radio goes to fifty on volume and the sub hits like a 15 inch should at about thirty five to fifty, but at twenty and less the cone doesnt even move and from twnty to thirty it sounds about like a ten should.
