Help picking a new sub

    I am looking for a 12" sub In about a $200 price range that I will run on a kicker 700.5, the sub channel is 400 watts rms at 2ohms and the box is 2.25 cu. ft ported looking for a sub that get's low and is clean.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    okay... lets see here... here is what your amp does...

    # 4 Channels ZX Series car amplifier + Class D Subwoofer Channel
    # 70 watts RMS x 4 channels + 210 watts x 1 Subwoofer channel at 4 ohm
    # 85 watts RMS x 4 channels + 420 watts x 1 Subwoofer channel at 2 Ohm
    # 165 watts RMS x 2 channels (bridged) + 210 watts x 1 Subwoofer channel at 4 Ohm

    so, for the sub you probably want to find a DVC 4ohm sub so you can run it at 2ohms.
