If it were me, I would find 2 dual voice coil subs 4ohms and wire them at 1ohm so you'll be pumping 1000 watts to the subs... what's your budget for subs? What kind of car is it going in to? Are you going to have a ported or sealed box?
i already have two 15 inch titanium eclipse that i want to push with this amp bro! i wanted to knoe is this amp gona do the job...
my bad.. are your subs dual 4 or dual 2ohm? do you have a link on the subs so we can look at the specs? edit: is this your sub??? http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=2004 those are 750watts rms so with two that's 1500watts and your amp is 1000 watts rms at 1ohm. if your subs are dual 4ohm and you'll be wiring them at 1ohm then you'll have enough juice for them but they will be a little underpowered..
no thats not my woofers,but yea i figured they would be a lil under powered... i had a mojo 4000.1 on them it got smoked,but im gona send it in... also i talked to my cousin he said i have the eclipse titanium pro series woofers rated at 3000 watts a piece so im thinkin i really need to send the mojo in really quick once i get back bro.... he has the tarantala 7200 watt amp that he is trying to sell me but i think im gona use the ppi untill i get my mojo back from memphis....
damn, you must have a good electrical in you ride for that kind of power. I'm assuming you upgraded your alt, did the big 3 and are using all 0ga. wires. what do you have up front for your front stage?
yea im running all o-gage wire running two batteries beef up alt for my front speakers i have two components 6.5(memphis) two 4.5 &two tweeters, in the rear im running four 6/8 it sounded real nice ... im just hoping this ppi amp does a lil justice lol untill i send my mojo off and get it back...money real tight right now that amp went out at the wrong time lol
