I recently aquired a PPI Art Series A600.2 amp from my uncle for $175. The amp gives great power, but it's missing the basic things that new amps incorporate, such as a built in crossover. I bought a Pyramid crossover not too long ago, but it is complete garbage. $20 down the drain. It took out the desired frequencies, but it made so much noise, it wasn't worth it.

I need a QUALITY crossover. All it needs to do is deliver low signals to the the PPI amp. This is ONLY for my sub amp. No extras needed (bass boost, highs/mids cross, etc..). I'd like to spend as less money as possible, but as I have experienced, you get what you pay for. So I'd refer to it as a "deal". I'm willing to spend up to $100.

    Thanks.

I used to have this Coustic crossover...
It was exactly what you are looking for...
It was the reference standard of the day, like 15 years ago...

Anyway, so so many companies copied this design - or realistically, I'm sure on the back end, simply used the same buildhouse.

I'd search the classifieds around here, or other forums, and see if you can find a crossover that's a little more reputable brand...

Are you simply looking for something like a simple LP filter?
    Or a HP filter?
    Or something more complete?

The Coustic that I owned had one input, and three outputs...
One for a front set of speakers, high-pass...
One for either a midrange/midbass, could be high-passed, or band-passed...
And one for a subwoofer, low-pass.

Something like that, today, could probably be had brand new for $100.
