Head Unit Wont Play Cds Anymore!!?

    I have a alpine 9803, and whenever i put a cd in it all i get is ---E on the screen. I have tried about ten cds and none of them will play. the radio works fine. i to avoid pulling my dash off and sending the pos to alpine :aurgue: any help is appreciated. :)

    Can you hear the cd spin up? Have you run one of those cd laser lanse cleaners in it?

    Its probably dead. <_<
