Hey guys, just thought I would let ya know that today I received my "temporary" components. They are the Orion XTR 6.2 components (6.5" midranges, 1" tweeters, and crossovers). Got them for $105 BRAND NEW including shipping so I don't think that is too bad. I know they aren't a high end audiophile type component set like the Focals, Rainbows, or Kodas but I just wanted something that would sound decent and didn't cost too much till I can afford the components that I really want (Phoenix Gold Titanium Elite 9). I have never installed any components before so now I am just trying to figure out how to wire them up and how to mount them. Well, just thought I would share. Mark
Oh yea here are a few specs on them: NOMINAL IMEDANCE 4 Ohm FEATURES 1" textile dome tweeter. Surface, angled, and flush mounting hardware Included FREQUENCY RESPONSE 60Hz - 20kHz SENSITIVITY 90 dB POWER CONTINUOUS/MAXIMUM 50w/100w DEPTH 2.75" / 71mm Mark

Hell no! Got them from a guy on CarAudioForum.com. They are in the original box and everything so who knows. That is why I wasn't really concerned with buying used since this is just temporary. I still hope they sound good though. Mark
Cool. I been hoping you weren't gonna have a 940 in there running stock speakers all the time. All the money you spend in shaving and slamming... Just think, you coulda had a system that made everyone envious
All the shaving and slamming can make eveyone envious too though You think you would have any time on Monday to help me throw them in Seth? Mainly all I need is direction on how to mount them. I am pretty sure how to wire them. Mark

It's 15 miles from the fire station out there in Oak Ridge (my buddy lives right around the corner there). They say snow is on the way, so there will be salt all over the road. You got my #, give me a shout.
