It does about 30 and it is bone stock right now, pretty soon I'm going to be swapping in an ESC and brush-less motor, getting it at 70mph +. Also going to get a different body for it. Probably like a vw bug just to mess with people :D the only problem is there aren't too many off-road dirt tracks, that don't have to have an ROAR membership to race at. Tomorrow we do club races at the local track, it should be fun! :D

I just have one in my photo gallery

Going to go pick up a blank shell tomorrow and paint it with a candy

And I never got to go because my room mate and about 6 of his friends were over at our apartment last night and I definately did NOT want to be the first one to fall asleep...

I wasn't but I woke up with about 5 people in my room and one laying on the bed slapping me in the head!!!!! :(

Hey Tyrant, i got a new toy today. I need some help with it though. Picked it up for $40 at a swap meet. It came with everything including tools, extra parts, the book, 2 bodies, and 2 sets of tires, some huge ones and some smaller ones. The front dif is torn apart though and it doesnt turn over when u try to pull the pull start. What do you think could b wrong with it? Its a GS Racing Storm.

sorry I dont have pictures for them... I have satelite internet with limited usage and uploading pictures is out of the question.... I got all these from my brother. I will have pictures next time I go to town.

Losi Muggy. got that one with a picco racing engine and a Jammin Jp-1 racing exhaust... gotta fix it soon its been sitting a while because there is a weird grinding noise and its probably from the clutch.

HPI Savage XL. im afraid to drive that one with a 3speed tranny. but its unbreakable.

Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3...tranny is shot on this one but it has a hi-performance resonator

    http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/145625.asp
XTM Xt2...got that one but the servos went out and I have no idea how to put on the new racing ones... its a really reliable little buggy.

then my favorite is this one... Traxxas Nitro-4tec...
    http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/628811.asp

no matter what happens to it... runs fine but the other day... I let it go allll out and the rear tire went out and flipped a good five times and still kept going but I need that new tire for it. goes at least 80 something easy.

ummmm johnny.... you can pull the pull start and nothing really moves in the engine? or can you just not pull it at all? alot of people fry engines on these things like nothing... if not the nut the pull starter is mounted onto can be worn out... on all our cars and trucks we have electric starters... its an expensive hobby good thing my brother bought them all.

    tyrant yours is electric right?

nitro 4tecs are pretty sweet. they do flip over pretty easily. they sure can do a bad ass awd burn out and donut. also, the stock plastic shock mounts break easily though.

well out where I live its a long straight road and its not cleaned off or else it wouldnt flip tooo much... the front shock mounts look flimsy... they havent broken yet... the shock came out once though... but it tightened right back in... I love when it get to second gear and takes off... theres a bump in the road like 100 ft from my driveway and I went over it a couple times and it flew. too bad hobby stores are like 30 miles from where I live. ohhh and they all work off of a Airtronics MX-3 transmitter system...
once I get a job I want to see what the tracks are like... I know there is a field for r/c airplanes like 10 miles from me... but we dont have any of those.

    Yeah mine is electric.

jony I'm not too familiar with the setup on the nitro rc's however there is a really good site that you can get a lot of your questions answered http://www.ultimaterc.com/

be careful they are sticklers for rules.

do the back tires move? and you can pull the pull start?
a new engine can be like 100 bucks for one that will get that thing going like 50 to 60... but for 40 bucks it was still a steal because the cheapest buggy with a cheap transmitter and stuff is like 300... do you have the glow plug and everything too?

johnny it looks like you have a good piece there. i'd pimp it out and put a traxxis 3.3 engine on it.

the rear wheels move but it wont pull start at all. ill have to pull the motor off an look at the pull start off. how much is a traxxis 3.3? and 50-60 is good enought for me! lol i am used to the Radio Shack XMODS. i thought those things were sooo cool! Can i pick up any of these motors at a hobby shop?

if you take the pull start off be careful... it will fall apart costs like 15 bucks for a new one... your buggy is like our xtm... same exact everything just changes names by region. but made by global hobby... a traxxas 3.3 would make it fly. are you pulling out the pull start only like 3 inches? because any further will mess it up.
you can go to a hobby store and they will have a few engines to choose from... unless you find a hobby store that isnt like a corperation... those have alot more to choose from.
    http://hobbypeople.net/prdcls/care2101.asp
there are a variety meant for your car... look for either alot of power... or high rpm and high port count helps.
my brother wanted to put this one on our buggy...
    http://hobbypeople.net/gallery/146032.asp
and I read on a forum that a guy put that one on because the stock one didnt have enough power and with this one the suspension wouldnt hold up and the clutch would burn out in no time but because he would run it full tilt getting it to go like 80.
but check out hobby stores you got a good platform to work off of.
the xmods are nothing compared to these. take them to parks and people are amused by them.

its amazing that they can get that much power out of such a small engine. i didnt believe it until i saw my friends nitro 4tec going up and down my street in seconds.
