I originally purchased one fi Bl fully loaded with an impedance of two ohms per coil. Then i decided to purchase another one and i need a new amp because my current amp puts out only 1100 watts at 2 ohms and that is not enough for 2 Bls. I was just looking for suggestions for an amp that would put out about 2000 to 2500 watts rms @ 2 ohms. recommendations would be appreciated.
    Thanks

That's a nice amp,but the plant audio or the soundstream would be a better fit in my opinion.I had the alpine mrp 1000 and my lights dimmed a little, but I also had a hifonics brutis bxi 1208d that really dimmed my lights.I think the hifonics pounded my subs better than the alpine and was way cheaper.

audiopipe 3k. can be had for about 320. shipped. i know a lot of people that use them and they put out good power, and its at 2 ohms mono like you need.

just back it up with some extra batteries.

i don't follow? you posted a link to said amp that shows specs.

    1500 x 2 @ 1 ohm stereo. 3000 x 1 at 2 ohm mono.

Ya after posting that i did some research and found that information. I wasnt sure that it meant 3000 watts rms @ 2 ohms on the wesite cause it says that it is one ohm stable.
    sorry for the mix up
Ok One more question i currently have one bl in my car running off a soundstream dtr 1700. when i put a second bl in Im going to be putting both bls into separate boxes cause one box built to the correct size will not fit through the opening of my trunk but two individual boxes will. so my question is should i buy a second Dtr and run 1 per woofer or should i buy the audiopipe 3k for both and ditch the Dtr?
    Thanks

Id go with either the Soundstream or the Rubicon. With the right electrical, you can run the Rubicon at .5 ohms and it would slam! The board is fragile though so don't be rough with it and mound it in a good, solid place.

does any one else have an opinion on this cause i would like to have the best result possible. like which amp is gonna sound better. one DTR 1700 per woofer or the 3k for both?
    thanks

I still think the Rubicon I listed earlier is your best bet.At least it's less than 2 dtr 1700's.You might be able to find one cheaper if you research it.
