I work with two other very talented installers. They both take the same pride in their work as I do. The install in this Mitsu is just a basic install. Two amps, Prefab Ported Box and an New HU. The difference between it and some other install is attention to detail.

The four channel amp is not yet hooked up and will be hooked up next week. The Mitsu currently still has stock speakers in it.

The HU is a Touch Screen Panasonic.

This install took just a little over 2-hours from start to finish.

very nice! i like a good clean basic install.

One thing I must bring up however, is the way these types of installs are done. Now first and foremost, i am NOT slamming any installers out there, but i wanted to say this.......

Alot of installs LOOK GREAT, they sound good, the presentation is well done, BUT, pull back the panels , the carpet, the kick panels, etc., and you find cheesy runs of cables, improper grounding, lack ofbasic detail in the connections, no time takin to keep the "not seen stuff" clean and well defined.

Again, I am NOT picking on you or your installers ranger. Just making a point I have seen from experience.

A learning lesson for those out there that choose to have it done by a shop, thats all. you sound very knowledgable in your ways, so I am in no way insulting yall.

again, nice job on your guys install, 2 hours! wow, beats my solo install on a CRX, HU, 2 pair, an amp and 2 subs in a prefab, oh ya, had to put the factory ant. in too! LOL!

We've worked together for alot of years. The time thing was because we all know each other so well. One installer cut and covered the panels and did everthing in the rear, the other installer ran wires and installed the HU. Four sets of speaker wires, a remote and three sets of RCA's were taped together an ran. The 4-gauge was run down the other side. I handled all the quick in/out jobs that day.

Everything is already run for the four channel amp.

We are always proud of our work, we always show the customer what is under panels and/or behind the radio. Why do you think we stay so busy.
    We have a good reputation.

Believe me, I know the installs you are talking about. I've seen them. We work on everything. Even customer furnished equipment. And I have seen some pretty bad stuff. Just recently a customer wanted use to trouble shoot an amp problem. After looking at the car, I told him the cost would be a complete install. I explained to him that we would not work on an install that looked as bad as his did (I was a little more tacktful).

He was happy with the end result.

The point is if we take the time to make it look right, it will usually work right.
