what kind of box can you design for my kicker that will KILL in spl and still sound good for all around listening.

if you cant. then just spl.

question: what kind of MDF should G3n3R be using for the T-line? 3/4?

 

3/4" for the win, i'll be building that box by this weekend. im also going to be building a 3cuft box tuned to 37hz for two crossfire dbw10 subs.

 

That's the kind of box i want too. super loud. lol.

Azn, would you recommend making the box before getting the sub in? I'm looking at another month before i get my stuff shipped over to the Philippines but i was thinking maybe (if possible) i should start making the box and false flooring so I'll have everything ready by the time my sub and amps get in. Then all i'll have to do is hook it all up.

 

might as well start getting it all setup so u can spend more time on it and make sure perfect.

 

that's what i was thinking cuz i don't want to rush it and screw things up. I know that once i get the amps and sub in, i'm going to be itching to hook it up.

Just talked to a friend of mine that owns a lumber yard. He told me he can do all the cuts for me. All he needs is the measurements. A lot less work for me.. LOL

3/4 MDF here will roughly cost me $25 for a 4x8 sheet.

Azn, what measurements do you need for the design?

I just have the 12" xplode there and 4 channel amp at the moment. I'm moving that to the wifes car. So, It's coming out SOON. Hopefully i can start the project next week. So i have to strip out all the crappy wiring that i have there now and (8 gauge) and start working on upgrading to the "big 3" and redo all the wiring inside to prep it for the stuff thats coming.

I don't care if I wont have any boom boom for a while. Just as long as i can get it ready for whats coming.
