Fuse Holder

    How do i install a fuse holder?. i am installing a Amp and someone told me i need a fuse holder..and where do i get a fuse holder at ?

    i have the red wire going from my battery to my amp ...where is the fuse holder needed?

    i see the fuse holder has a end on both sides for somthing to go in.

    what goes in the slot?

    i'm sorry if its hard to understand me

    The fuse holder goes right off the battery on the wire that goes from the battery to the amp.

    you can find one at an audio shop. install it close to the batt under the hood. that one is very important.

    the power wire goes in to the ends. with a fuse in between.

    if you dont know how to do this i would suggest you go to a shop and have this done.

    so basically jus stick the wire through the fuse holder and pull it out the other end?....

    No, you figure out where you want it, then cut the wire. Some fuse holders require a ring terminal at each end some just a place to slide the wire in and tighten it with an allen head screw. The wire just goes into each end and the fuse in between carries the power between the two wires.
