ok, now that my subsare in and all. The ****ty lil' Sony Explodes in my doors and back seats are blowing, bad I want to stay with Audiobahn, you know keep t in the family, so what's the best Full Range speakers from Audiobahn, I don't want to spend a large amout of money on them and if possible what are some good dash speakers? Eclipse Dimensions : 3.5" in dash 5.25" in doors 6X9" in rear
Sorry...not a fan of Audiobahn...any of their products. Don't like the Xplode speakers either...head units I like. I have kenwood 2 ways in my car and they can get plenty loud and still stay clear...Alpine makes some pretty nice speakers for the money...type s and type r speakers are good. If you really want some nice sounding speakers I'd look at the Boston Acoustics...any of them are sweet.
Under 200 for the front AND rears for one pair only?? http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm...y&page_id=14&mfg_account_ID=19&category_id=23 -fronts...i like the line http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16835 -I have the 6x8's in all doors of my explorer...sounds really good to me...decent bass...6x9 versions prolly have more bass http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13693 -had these all around in my last car...good for the money...not much bass but everything else shined...mids and highs were clear as a bell and could get loud too...really loud for what they were...didn't even distort either.
I think id stick with the Bostons, they are great quality and sound awesome and can take a lot of punishment. Get away from audiobahn if you can, there is a reason why they are so cheap.
Stay away from their subs too...I personally don't like to buy huge flaming paperweights...lol...sorry eclipsed...didn't mean to rag on your subs but Audiobahn just isn't that good.
Go to ecoustics.com for reviews. Onlinecarstereo/Crutchfield has reviews, too. The Audiobahn 4x6 coax/comp got great reviews at Onlinecarstereo by a few people.
