    welcome back to the forum.

ok lets see first you'll need to play some music with a lil bit ok all the freqs to it,and set the crossovers. thats how i do it. jazz is good for that i think.

to start though lets set the midbass at 80hz hipass to start.

the coaxials at 125hz hipass to start

and the subs at 80 hz lowpass.

then tweak your heart out, cause tuning a system can take a while to get it perfect to your ears. now if you have an eq too then you'll be a while.

OK sounds good, will try that i have the audio control eq 27 band.

so a silly questio to under stand the filter so filters out 80hz and above and the coaxial is 125hz and below.
the sub filters out 80hz anfd above?????

no the hi pass will filter out anything under what you set it too. so an 80 hipass will not let freqs below 80 thru. to a point thy will come thru just at a lower volume per octave.

and low pass will filter out the higher freqs. 80hz low pass will play up to 80hz and gradually roll off the volume.

dont set your coaxials at a 125 lowpass. they should be hipass. the midbass's too just at a lower freq. like 80. that way they will play a lil bass/midbass. the mids just mids freqs. that way they can play a lil louder without breaking up.

just not soo loud that you start to clip to signal and it all sounds like ass.

also with 27 bands of eq you will be tuning for a loooong time to get it to sound just right. hell my head has 16 bands and i still tweak it from time to time.

then i have my 7 band eq/line driver to fine tune it even further.

talking about tweaking my eq. ive been setting it so it sounds as good as it can when CCcullen comes to town next month and we meet up at a show.

thats been around a month or 2 now. ive been tuning for 3 diff types of music and setting my eq's mem for them.

    vocal
bass music(gotta show off the boom too)
then music with all of the above.

i think i have it figured out. that is till i listen to another song and i have to start over again.
