hey, i made this harness but not sure if i got the rcas to the car harness properly. I went with the colored wire with a stripe as positive and the other matching color without a stripe as negative for each rca. If i have this wrong do you think there will be damage to my deck or the ford amp in the trunk?
pioneerdeh-p7700mp using the 4 channel low output rcas to integrate into the ford amp.

The amp, is it on the left side of the trunk around the left tire well. If it is its not an amp. Its the radio

yes its an amp to power the six factory speakers and also radio contoller but do you think there would be damage if the rcas were wired wrong negative and positive. maybe will hear a humming when i try tp plug it in if its wrong? i don't want to damage anything i ordered the real harness and will wait for it if i have too.

It is unlikely that you will damage the factory amp.

I just saw your last post, JBL, yes you can intergrate into it. If the audio level is to low you might need to use speaker level out from the radio to the amp. The way I have done these is to use an adjustable line level converter. This way I could get the audio levels right.

Again, Ford Amps are tough, I don't see how you can hurt it.

I'm curious, I've never tryed to intergrate this way let me know how it goes.

Great info, great research. It will be added to my data base.
I have intergrated into JBL systems in Lincolns but never Tauras or Sables.

I have bypassed Tauras radios using a kit similar to the crutchfeild link you had. But I have never seen one with a JBL.

    Anyway thanks

cool, no problem knowledge is power!! my car does have the mach 80 amp as far as i can tell, they discontinued the jbl starting in 97 as a downgrade unfortunately for me lol. I wish i had the JBL one it looks much nicer.

hey peeps, i picked up my sub amp yesterday and am not sure if the sub box should be facing the back seat or facing the trunk, i have the kicker copy? factory box and it is vented. if it should be facing the trunk then i won't mount my amp to the box, will have to find another place. please see pics thanks!:D
