foam surround sound

    ok, when i was installin my subs wich are 2 powerbass 12''s i ended up poking a hole in the surround in one of them, actually did it in 2 places, i just put some silicone on the inside of the surround to try and seal it, anyother way to fix this? i really dont wanna put a new surround on it.

    Try shoe goo, or "amazing goop" these should work well for you, always worked for me

    silicone will work fine.....you aint installed subs till you ram a hole in the surround! I have probably done it a few dozen times over the years

    haha yea and they are brand new!!!:mad: i figured silicone would work. i guess it just gives me a new excuse to upgrade.

    hahahaha... yup been there done that too.... too many times.

    silicone will do just fine.

    ive never done this until today...but the subs were a little warn and had a few already i noticed after feeling terrible lke i ruined them..

    anyways question is if they are played with these tears does it cause any more damage? and where would i put it at.


    I like my kickers have rubber much more durable.

    seal them up and let it set a day.....you will be fine
