What is the big deal about you gusy basjing the ricers for the "fartpipes" we have? I know its not a v8 sound but some mufflers have a nice buzz to them. I was in my friends Firebird and he put in a new muffler- dual straight pipes.....flowmasters I believe. You get a very throaty and lud sound but all I was thinking about in his car was when he will stop so I can take a shit. My stomach was shaking from the output of the exhaust and I had to scream to hear myself. Same thing in another kids 5.0 mustang. Its nice at the beggining but how long can you tolerate that?

Is the sound of power unsettleing to you?

Exhaust can be too loud. Right now the Nat is a bit noisy at 45-50 MPH, I keep it above or below there. My 442 had wide open headers for a month, but the heat in the car was unbearable, so I went to 3 feet of straight pipe right off the header. You wanna talk loud?!?!?! Anyways, the sound of power is music to my ears, the sound of a dry fart makes my want to run away...

My El Camino has dual Glasspacks and i hate them.

My exhaust sounds like its traveling through a 55 gallon drum. Too much echo and too throaty for me.I like flowmasters American Thunder's....real nice sound.
