I have been looking all over the internet for a site that sells fiberglass sub boxes. www.Tccustomz.com is a good site, but has anyone seen any other sites that sell fiberglass boxes like this?
I have a '05 Explorer that I have 2 Fosgate P2 12's in and I would really like to find a nice fiberglass box to give it that custom look.
Anyone know of any other sites I should check out?

dude, most fiberglass boxes give that great custom look because they are custom. Grab some resin and some glass cloth (or fleece) and get to it.:)

LOL. Hey Haute, believe me, I really want to take a crack at it. I think I could make a kick ass box. Only 2 problems: A) I live in an apartment where I have absolutely no room to build a box (That in and of itself is a good reason) B) The only place I do have (With enough space and the tools I need) is at my parents house, which is still in the process of being fixed after Hurricane Rita destroyed a good portion of the work shop.

I really wanna give it a shot, but may have to settle for the easy way out for now...who knows....

I did find another site that sells the boxes, but I do not like it nearly as well as the first I listed.

    www.lightav.com/car/boxes/bassforms/bassforms.html

you can check it out if you want

Well i just got my box from him and it looks alot better in the flesh, all though these pics don't do it justice, i will post more pics once everything is in. He sends it out of Canada so it took a coulpe of weeks but well worth the wait, i undestand he can also do custom if you call him up.

Have you upgraded your "big three"?

If not...I bet doing that would do more than using that cap.

My best friend bought that same cap from Best Buy cuz he used to work there and got it really cheap...hooked it up to try to help 2 old school kenwood 1000watts (400rms @ 2 ohm)...didn't do squat but look cool.

Personally I'd say sell it...or you can hook it up and install it so it looks cool...That's all I have to say. Just my $0.02

Forbidden...do you wanna enlighten this guy on caps? lol

Lycra swimsuit fabric is my choice for sub enclosures. Thick, sucks up resin like there is no tomorrow. And stretches in more ways than imaginable. :)

Basically...the final thing about the cap is ditch it...upgrade the big three...and save up for a HO Alt if needed after the big three.
