fiberglass sub box

    how do you calculate volume of a fiberglass sub box?

    depends really is it a normal shape or some off the wall shape.

    it is to be fitted into the corner of my trunk so it will be very rounded and curvy. also is it better to put it into the front firing towards the back or the back firing towards the front? i will probably put two individual subs one in each corner if that is not wrong.

    get packing peanuts...fill the box up and then dump the peanuts into a cardboard box...Volume equals area times height...then divide by 1728 (1 cu ft) to get internal volume

    awesom i would have never thought to try that thank you.:) is it better to fire forward of backward?

    depends on vehicle....what you can do is build a sealed box and play a song and keep changing its position and firing directions.

    sill probably build two small fitted boxes that are molded into their corner unless this is a bad idea. it is going into a 1997 pontiac grand prix 4dr.
