I bought a fi audio ssd 15 inch sub-woofer four months ago and had no problems when hooked up to a crunch 1500.1 amp. Recently the amp over heated so i turned it down and allowed it to cool. After turning it back up the sub-woofer cut out and now only the amp turns on but no sounds comes out. What could be the cause of this problem?
when you say turned it down. do you mean the volume or the gain? you may have damaged the amp. what is the impedance of the sub, and what is the gain set to?
