I've been looking for some new component speakers, tweets, mid-bass speakers and amps, a few brands that I've been looking at are ma audio, visonik, and diesel audio for the most part right now, any opinions? I have 2 orion hcca 12" subs, and 2 12 in rockford he2's and I'm a big fan on orion and am considering just doing a full orion install, but I wondering what everyone else thinks about the other brands, mostly amps, since we all know have fast costs add up, but diesel, ma, and visonik all make amps that will handle my hcca's at a reasonable price. also for my components I was looking at kenwood and pioneer as well. all in all I plan on getting 4 8" subs, 1-2 or pair of mid-bass speakers, 2 set of 6.5 components, and a handful of tweets, not sure on the finish number yet, I was just gonna play it by ear on those. but all thoughts are welcome

Budget is not too big of an issue, this is for a daily driver, not comp yet, i just want volume and quality and mostly just to install it all. Right now im driving a civic hatch, I just bought it and it only has some crappy type-r's up front, and no i dont plan on sticking all of this into the civic, itll b for my next car, which will b something to the degree of a rx-7, 350z, evo, m3, or m5, this isnt going to be for a while as I said, which is why cost isnt a big deal, but for now I wanna get something running my orion subs to potential, my previous amp (r.i.p.) couldnt come close. then to get a set of rear for mid-range and some components up front, all powered, and since this isnt my big project and more or less a temp fix for my ears.

well if you don't really have a budget for separates try looking into brands like Focal, DLS, Morel and Polk there are a lot out there.

those subs you have need a lot of power.. Are they like 2000watts or something? what was your amp before?

you say you have type r's up front.those alpines are way better than what you are recomending.unless they are blown.

you also say you have 4 12's.whats wrong with them?

whats the subs power handling? and how much can you afford to spend?
