Hi I have a type x and I was wondering if an MRD 1005 would be able to pump that sub. I was thinking about the new mrd m2000 or PDX 1.1000 but those are pretty pricey. Let me know and thanks.
That amp is an older model and has been discontinued by Alpine, but it should push the sub very well without any problem.
2 amps to one sub? if the sub is a DVC sub then yes, one amp to one coil... if you have two subs it's also very possible. you just have to level match the amps with the subs.
