Eclipse XA-4000 or JL 300/4?

    I just bought a JL 500/1 to power my subs and I am anal and need to have matching amps. Will the JL out perform my Eclipse XA-4000? I am powering CDT gold series HD-6 front component set and Memphis M-class 6.5" rear component sets?

    I do not think that a JL will out perform your XA4000. The XA4k is a solid amp and you would have to step up to US amps or Zapco in order to solidly out perform it.

    300/4

    My 300/4 sounds better to me! The XA-4000 was not so good in my opinion.
