ok i have had this unit for about a year or longer. i put in a cd cleaning disk today and "info 3" pops up i believe(which means dirty disk). it ejects the disk and freezes and then now HELP pops up and 000000 comes up and it will not play music at all. i never turned on the security thing on my unit as i go though alot of cds but its acting like i did. does anybody know how to reset this thing before monday? my book says i have to call in and there closed weekends. thanks
try doing a hard reset, take the power from it (yellow and red) and let her sit for a half hour or so, then repower it, see if it clears the memory out. i guess you could do it from the battery too, but then the car would reset (depending on how long you let it sit)
I doubt that will work as it is acting like i stole it and wont do anything untill i call in on monday, but i was wondering if anybody else had this problem.
well i fugured out who i bought it from and hopefully i can get it unlocked for free tomorrow when i call.
yeah that didnt matter. i just gave in and paid the money...it was alot of stuff to do to get it unlocked...hold Screen and 4 at the same time press mode press screen again then insert a code yeah i hope that never happens again....and if it does i wont have to pay the money again.....or atleast i better not.
that sucks man. but your info would be a good sticky for the next guy needing help. whats the code you had to put in?
