When using line out converters, the head unit has 4 channels, 2 front, 2 rear, which would go to the 4 channel amp. there are no more speaker outputs to go to the sub amp. Would I just use the rca out on the 4 channel to the rca input on the bass amp?? Does it matter that the amps are different brands? Eclipse is the 4 channel and the bass amp is Crossfire CFA1000D, I put it back in when the Hifonics didnt perform as good as the old school Crossfire. I guess they dont build them like they used to!!

doesn't really matter if you use either the front or rear for the sub amp...just use a short patch cable.

Amp brands do not matter at all.
