The easiest way is to remove the rear brake shoes, plug the rear brake line and pull the e brake while you are driving...............??????????Well, maybe not.......

I am not sure on these new fangled head units now a days. As one for safety concerns, i cant reccomend a method for doing it. Might i suggest a portable dvd player and put it in the back seat with your son? i would hate to hear on the news about a father and son getting killed cause his boy wanted to watch "pirates of the caribean" and dad reached over to FF the show to a good part for him then get hit head on by a truck....

Sorry Rick, not tryin to be mean, just want yall to be safe! especially for your sons sake. Inicent children mean the world to me......get a dvd player for the back seat .........please

oh you guys are terrible. It's his life and it's his kids. If he's responsible enough to not watch the darn screen while driving then good for him. Seesh. I have mine grounded out so I am able to watch it while driving.

Just take the wire that is suppose to go to the brake.. and connect it to the ground !!! SIMPLE!!! and SAFE!! lol

good luck.. don't be a dumb ass and watch it!!

He is a dumb ass, why else would he wanna bypass the safety. And its not just his kids. There are other people on the road.

And Viking, he could care less about his or anyones elses children, he probably drives drunk with his kid or kids in the car.

Heres another way to fix it

Alot of systems have a combination that you have to use to turn on the screen (ebrake up, down, then up again). If you ground the system out it still wont work. The best way to bypass would be take the brake elect. line off the back of the reciever and run it to a toggle switch. Then connect from the switch to the ground. This will bypass the system. I understand that its there for safety purposes but he wants it so help him out.

yes JT Douglas, This is the way that we do it in the shop. BUT jensen players have a "demo" mode. .This cancels the ebrake thing so you don't have to worry about it.

uh, i love you guys , but jesus. chill out. people do worse things while driving. like putting on makeup. eating. talking on cell phones. drunk driving. having sex.

what's the big deal with having some background movies playing. damn.

What I have just seen is people not having their screens play sound. Like it will do some screen designs like Windows Media Player playing in the back of their headrests and their drop down screens
