Going to be running 2 15's in an extracab toyota, and was wondering what the advantages of running a single chamber as apposed to 2 chambers would be... had planned on running each sub behind each headrest friing forward and with the port in the middle.... so would be seperate chamber... any input is cool..

Its 6 of one and half dozen of the other........

Bottom line is this, it wont make THAT big of a difference. I personally would opt for a box that uses 2 seperate enclosures however. THis would help to strengthen the enclosure and prevent unwanted and sound robbing resonance of the actual box itself.

Plus, should one sub die in a combined chamber, the remaining good sub would be using double its recommended volume... not too good for the sub

thats about 8.2 cu ft gross

acount for port and bracing displacement you are nearing 2.5-3 cu ft per sub if going ported.

    IMO that is too small
