I am going to have to run 1/0 through my Explorer. Am I going to have to drill through the firewall? If so, will i have to put a grommet where I drill, or can I just run the wire through the hole? I apologize for my ignorance. ;D
Hola~ A lot of times, especially in fords, there will be holes already in the firewall around where the pedals are, you just have to pull the carpet back. They're plugged with little bits of apoulstry. If you do end up having to drill, then 2 peices of advice I have for you, are 1.) use brass bits, and 2.) don't use a cordless. I wouldn't use a cordless unless it was a high powered one, ie, 12 volts or higher. Not one of those wimpy 3 volt ones......you'll be drilling and/or recharging all day.... Jeff
