    alright fellas im gonn need some help 1 of my friends has a system and he doesnt think it running good he wants me 2 check it out he has a NISSAN MAXIMA it has a BOSE stock system for the mids and highs he also has a INTERFIRE amp for the 6x9 and th 6-1/2s he aslo has a PERFORMANCE TEQUNIKE amp pushing 2 KICER CVR 12s he said he gonna bring it over 1 of these day so i can check it out well i have a digital multimeter so i can check how hes running the subs 2 the amp and theres this noise the speakers make wen he changes the cd or lowers the volume i think that prably would have 2 do with the ground well jus let me know wat u guys think wat else i should do

    Most likely the ground from the deck, make sure it's grounded to metal and not to the car's harness if your going to try and fix it.

    electro is right, it's most likely the ground

    so how many mids/highs does he have?
    he has the stock BOSE system and other speakers on an amp?

    is the noise a popping sound?are the gains all the way up?

    well he has the stock BOSE head unit adn i think he has that LOC thing

    oh ok.so do you know what he set his gains to?

    too high could give you some noise

    oh, factory bose head unit, then it wouldn't be the ground from the deck making noise but it does sound like a ground problem. Maybe it's coming from the loc, maybe try grounding the loc to metal.
