Degreasing a Motor

    Not exactly a repair question, but i wanna clean my 350 smallblock off, make it so she shines and such. Its carburated, what do you guys suggest for covering up the carburator while i wash it, just plastic and tape or is there a better way?

    ive seen some where you can use aluminum foil, but a plastic bag would work to

    yes, if u wanna get really fancy, you can go to the parts store and i think the make carburator hats. Otherwise, plastic bag and tape will work just fine.

    Yea a plastic grocery bag with some duct tape works great. dont forget to do the distributer and coil as well
