Ok i am getting really anxious to get this system in the dodge and the dam amp aint here yet! Ok, well i am lookin for subs again not really sure if i wanna use some 12s or 10s. I was thinkin about these coustic 10's i would get two and build the biggest box possible. Parts Express:Coustic US-CX10-04 10" Subwoofer or maybe one twelve? But the 2 10s will have more cone area, correct? Or should i just use the 2 ehqs subs i have for now and buy some alpine door speakers? Ugh, i am so confused right now. lol
I'd stick with the EHQS subs you have now...I used to be all about bass but once you hear a good front stage you'll want it in your vehicle. I'd buy some sound dampening mat. It will greatly improve the sound from the door speakers
ok what about that mat that i seen someone else use i think they got it at lowes? wasnt that u azn? like 14 dollars a roll
no...its peel and seal window flashing. it works...but doesn't last more than a few years I only used it because i wanted to try it...you can use it but it will start to fail after 4-5 years
well what is the weather like where you like. The stuff I used is called Peel N Seal 6"x25' Roll Self-Stick Aluminum Faced The stuff you linked to will work also...I'd use that over the sound dampening material and on the backside of panels
O ya i got more money today from christmas parties lol and im already ready to spend it. Hopefully the amp comes tomorrow!
you can take your chances with peel n seal. It works...just really really hot weather over and over will cause it to fail and melt
alright... i will use that then i might get some tomorrow. I am probably going to make a final decision on the 6x9's some time this week and order them.
ok im lookin at distribution blocks because i am possibly going to run another amp to the 6x9's and if i use this distribution block what fuses should i use? Scosche e2 EADB2 - One 2/4 Gauge Input • 2 8 Gauge Outputs • Holds 2 AGU Fuses • Platinum Plated - , Car Installation & Accessories, Amplifier Installation, Distribution Blocks, Power Distribution Blocks - Sonic Electronix
has anyone here ever heard these or heard of these they look kind of interesting. it looks like they have a pretty big motor.
heard of what?? also for the distro blocks...I would never get an agu fuse type block. Stick with wither a maxifuse or anl fuse distro block Kicker FDBMA - S-Series Fused Distribution Block • 1/0 or 4 AWG • Platinum-plated Solid Brass construction • Smoke colored ABS plastic cover with Kicker Logo • Can hold 2 ANL type fuses - , Car Installation & Accessories, Amplifier Installation, Dist Knukonceptz product detail for KONFUSED 2 WAY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
sorry lol forgot to tell u the link Y5692 Instigator Series - • • • • • Description Coming Soon! • • • • • - , Car Speakers, 6" x 9" Speakers - Sonic Electronix
motor size doesn't have much to do with performance. That brand is a flea market brand like pyle and crap like that...don't even pay it any attention.
look SUPER cheap...even more cheap than that cheap flea market crap with 18 "tweeters" There isn't even a product description or specs on it what do you expect for some 25 dollar a pair of speakers
ok i made a design on google sketch of my box for the subs, but how do i get it on here do i take a pic and then post it or what?
