Hi Guys, Recently got some 6x9 speakers to replace stock speakers as they were shot. Im looking to come up with a way to mount the speakers on top of the parcel shelf (Civic 2000 MB 5 door) in the most inobtrusive way possible. I had made a box to test out one speaker and it sounded great BUT it was too big and the boot wouldnt shut. Ideally the box would be wedge shaped to follow the angle of the boot glass, whats the smallest dimensions a box can be for 6x9 speaker that will still be effective? Cheers
Those speakers are generally designed to work in free air enviorments...that means they work well in small enclosures. I would give it at least .25 cubic feet of air space...but smaller will work OK
