ok this may be a silly question but its been bothering me for a while.

ok i have an ED nine.5 amp and its xover for the mids is 18db per octave.

my pioneer has 12db per octave. so if i use them both will that be 30db per octave?

same for sub ED is 18 so is the head. will it be 36db per octave?

No they will not sum together, the 18 db slope will take over where the 12 db leaves off.

but the 12 is before the 18. so the 18 is the final slope?

oh well. i'm happy with the sound now anyways. i did a whole rewire again:eek:

i know:huh: why right, i was board. so now the dash and doors and tweets are on the front ch @ 2 ohms. 175 x 2. and the rears at 100x2,subs the same @ 450ish x 1.

since i had to use the blockers on the dash they play a little more bass. i'm useing 300hz blockers which to me sound warmer than the 600hz xovers i used to have on them.

the doors are at around 80 or so.
