Considering upgrading subs and amp.

    I am looking into picking up a Hifonics brutus 1700.1D amp along with a pair of Rockford P3s. The Subs are rated at 1200 peak I believe. Would it be safe to get a 2100 and wire it at 1 ohm or would that be overkill for these subs?

    as long as its clean unclipped power it would be fine... but if u dont know what ur doing dont do it..
