Compustar 2w8000fmr help

Hi I have an older compustar installed in my car I resently lost my remote and had to get a new one and now it does this funny thing, it starts the car ok and then after about 15-20 secounds it turns the car off and puts the remote into valet mode??? Any ideas ???
