What do speakers with aluminum cones sound like vs. copolymer cones? I'm looking at two ADS 6.5" which are both on sale, one has aluminum and one has copolymer. Someone recommended the much pricier comp w/aluminum cone. Do they sound similar or are the aluminum cones louder?
Um...I have never heard a difference in the sound between polymer cones vs aluminum vs carbon fiber...only difference I see is the price
If you can listen to both sets and do an A/B comparison, do it, if not, i would just go with the cheaper set.....A/D/S makes some very nice speakers, cant say alot of the amps, but the speakers are very nice in my opinion. You wont go wrong with either set.
