I want to put 2 colossus's on my 2 mojos. In order to get the most from the amps they have to be at 2ohms bridged and with the subs being d2 I can't do that. Can this amps run 1ohm bridged? Maybe mod?

You need to provide more info. The original HiFonics Colossus was a 2-channel amp. Is this one? Are the woofers single or dual vc? 2, 4, 8 ohm?

I'll try to lay it all out. 2 Ohms can be achieved with either:

    MONOBLOCK AMP:

    • Two SVC 4-Ohm subs wired parallel
    • Two DVC 8-Ohm sub wired parallel
    • Two DVC 2-Ohm subs wired series/parallel
    • Two SVC 1-Ohm subs wired series
    • One DVC 4-Ohm wired parallel
    • One SVC 2-Ohm
    • One DVC 1-Ohm wired series.

    2-CHANNEL AMP (UNBRIDGED)

    • One SVC 2-Ohm sub per channel
    • Two DVC 4-Ohm subs per channel wired parallel

    *2-CHANNEL AMP (BRIDGED)

    • Two SVC 8-Ohm subs in parallel
    • Two DVC 4-Ohm subs wired series/parallel (just silly)

*General rule of thumb: There is rarely a reason to bridge a 2-channel amp on more than one woofer. The load will either be dangerously low or you'll arrive at the exact same power as if it remained unbridged.
